We are continuously looking to expand our service portfolio. With the ongoing copper phase-out, and the increased need for alternative connectivity solutions, we are pleased to announce that we will be introducing an additional service: Ethernet DSL Circuit via WBA FttH P2P. Depending on the relevant FttH region, either GoF or PON (GPON or XGSPON) technology will be used to support the service. This new service will become available in Q3 of 2022.

We will introduce new Category IDs so that this new service will be shown on the SPOT GUI and SPOT Availability Check APIs. This service will be delivered to the Customer Location via an Ethernet connector on Customer location. We will keep you updated on the official launch date of the service!

It’s not summer yet, but we’re already thinking about the summer holidays. Why? Because of the Dutch construction industry holidays, also known as ‘Bouwvak’. This is a 5-week period in which very little construction activity takes place. The official start of this period is on July 25th, and it runs until August 26th this year. This 5-week period has implications for the lead-time of all fiber and radio orders for which contractors are needed, and where the ‘Bouwvak’ overlaps the standard delivery duration. This means that the lead-time for these orders will be increased by 5 weeks in order to provide a realistic delivery estimate. A remark in the order confirmation email will be provided to let you know the standard lead-time has been altered due to the ‘Bouwvak’.
